This is the 2nd room I've done at Project Panic Escape Dallas and suffice it to say I won't be checking out any more from this company. The immersion was minimal at best, some of the puzzles were straight up broken (yet we had to use a "hint" to figure this out vs having the game master inform us), and the air conditioning was broken during a hot Texas day.
If the A/C is broken in a place as notoriously hot as Texas, I think it's appropriate to either
a) offer a discount because the experience won't be great,
b) inform the guests that the A/C is out and allow them to rebook for free,
c) provide some fans in the room to at least provide some sort of breeze, or
d) offer the cold waters for sale in the lobby for free since it's So. Flipping. Hot.
Even if the room WERE good, it would have been a unpleasant experience because of the heat, but add a subpar room to the mix and there is truly no reason to consider playing any other rooms offered at this company.
